Out of $350,000 we have successfully raised $300,000.
In 2019, the Waukegan Muslim community united to establish a mosque, addressing the need for a space to gather for prayers and activities. With Mr. Patel’s leadership, we successfully raised funds and opened the mosque, celebrating the first Tarawih prayers during Ramadan. Beyond daily and Jummah prayers, we offer youth programs, religious education, and support for families in need, including grocery assistance. Our mosque stands as a symbol of faith, unity, and community service, dedicated to the spiritual and material well-being of Waukegan’s Muslim population.
